ABOUT US
We are a group of students from Hwa Chong Institution (College Section) embarking on a non-profit project and outreach initiative to encourage the public to clear their trays, and keep their surroundings clean.Our project, entitled "Keep This Clean!", is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of upholding Singapore's 'Clean and Green' image by spreading this message to the public. We will be targeting primary schools, whereby we will be instilling a sense of responsibility in the students through engaging activities. This will allow them to have a clear understanding of the routine that the cleanershave to go through everyday just to support a living, while students are ignorant and oblivious to the efforts that have been put in to ensuring that the compound is clean while they are in the comforts of their classrooms. #4: Snap an ACT contest!
 YouthACT! presents it's inaugural competition - Snap an ACT! contest. To participate in this competition, simply snap a picture of an act of kindness anywhere in Singapore. Show your appreciation for someone who has helped you in one way or another! This person may be a family member, domestic helper, cleaner in public facilities (eg. McDonalds) or someone on the streets. After which, include a caption (in no more than 7 words) to show your appreciation! Bonus points will be awarded for creativity to those who include the word "ACT" in their caption! Winners stand to win attractive prizes! 1st place: $100 cash 2nd place: $50 cash 3rd place: $25 cash *Terms and Conditions apply.
